Polar Cave Ice Cream Parlour was established in Mashpee in 1995, for the past eight years it has been owned and operated by Mark Lawrence, an entrepreneur and Cape Cod resident for over 28 years. This year a second location was added in W. Yarmouth, bringing the Polar Cave experience to a whole new neighbourhood.
Mark brings his many years of experience in the hospitality industry, combined with a sense of humour to ensure his customers a return trip time and time again. Mark has a daughter, Kelsey (Sandwich High, 2013), who works alongside weekends and during school vacations to help make the Polar Cave the finest ice cream parlour on the Cape.
Polar Cave prides itself in serving generous portions of their super premium ice cream (what many think –” Cape Cod’s Best Ice Cream”) at a fair price, while being firmly committed to providing a fun, family friendly atmosphere. Their ice cream has been the recipient of many awards, amongst them Boston.com Best Vanilla, CapeCodOnLine.com Top 10 Ice Cream and Readers Choice Awards for the past eight years. They take great pride in their communities & are proud to be a sponsor of many varied community and charitable activities.
